![]() ![]() To conclude, I am glad to have this product at an relatively low price, just so I have something to use in the meantime, but I'll have to put more effort into finding my original and/or buying a GoPro brand one. ![]() You don't just lose a camera, you lose all your footage and memories. Realistically, I believe you can only lose your camera doing MTB once. I do do MTB and I don't quite trust this case for that, now or ever. Luckily I will just be using it on a harness on walking applications, until I find my OEM one, so there won't be much stress on it. In fact, there is nothing rubber on this product.Įven in the one orientation that "feels the best", I do fear that it will break at some point. I don't have any such rubber pad on mine. I'm also surprised one reviewer said there is a rubber tab. There is a little nub in the front that stays in the front bevel to keep the camera put and it wants to be in a particular orientation. I think I nearly broke my new case because I put the camera in at a 90 degree and it flexed. There is definitely and exactly one direction and orientation. What does this mean? On the original case, I can put the camera in any of the 4 sides, forward or backwards. I suppose you don't know what you've got until it's gone. But nonetheless, I don't remember fighting with the original case. Tight might be good so the camera angle doesn't shift on you, but that's what the tightening screw is for. The little finger-hinges (I don't know what you call them) are also on the tight side. This part feels and sounds like it was made from PLA. If anyone is familiar with 3D printing, who isn't by now?, then you'll understand the difference between ABS and PLA. You don't even have to "tap" it, it just feels - well, hollow inside. It definitely feels cheaper, lighter, and "sharper" or maybe it's just because mine is already worn in, than the original. I was happy to see a case I could use come in the post, but when I got it out of the bag, I immediately could tell it wasn't going to fare well. I really am surprised that there are so many reviewers stating that they can't tell this housing from the original. I still have it somewhere but I just need something to use in the meantime. I purchased this housing because I misplaced my housing. This really means that however much you like or dislike the OEM housing, don't loose it. The Skeleton Housing features open sides which allow direct access to the camera's ports for live-feed video, a GoPro Mic Adapter or for live-charging. The frame of a quadcopter is the main structure, or the skeleton upon which the. This statement should sum it up for most people: Frame PDB Flight Controller RX (Radio Receiver) ESC Electronic Speed. ![]()
